Sapphire FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction)
Follicular Unit Extraction is the most commonly applied hair transplantation method. Although it is more expensive and time-consuming than the FUT, it is the preferred hair transplantation method by patients. This is because of the advantages of the method comparing to FUT.
With the FUE technique, one follicular unit at a time is extracted from the donor area instead of a whole strip. These follicular units are being implanted in the balding areas considering the right angle of the hair growth, which makes it possible to create a natural look.
The new innovation within the FUE technique, using sapphire instead of steel blades to open the incisions, it became possible to open micro incisions. This reduces scabbing to a minimum and fastens the recovery process.
With FUE method the patient feels none to minimal pain during the operation.
The recovery time of FUE is much shorter as there is minimum scab formation.
There is no scarring visible after the recovery time.
